The windows and hardware have been painted so much that we have decided to go ahead and strip them. Not a big deal, right? Doesn't sound like much, but it took us FOREVER. We have successfully stripped, sanded, puttied, primed, and painted one window. It is tedious, but worth it.
The hardware has been the real Cinderella.

Did you know that if you put painted hardware in the crock pot with water for a few hours, the paint will just come right off? A little tip I learned in This Old House magazine. I'll pass on my old issues if you are interested :)
